Cookies

Short version

We do not use advertising, retargeting, or cross-site tracking cookies on the Walkable website. The only cookies we set are the ones strictly required for you to sign in to the Walkable Creator Suite, and these are only set when you actually log in.

Because we do not use any non-essential cookies, we do not show a cookie consent banner on this site.

What we use

  • Firebase Authentication session cookies (essential). When you sign in to the Creator Suite, Firebase sets cookies in your browser to keep you logged in. These are strictly necessary for the dashboard to work and are exempt from cookie consent requirements under EU/UK ePrivacy rules. They are not set on the public landing page.
  • Vercel Web Analytics (cookieless). We use Vercel's built-in Web Analytics to count anonymous page views and see basic referrer data so we know whether anyone is visiting our marketing pages. Vercel Web Analytics does not set cookies, does not use cross-site tracking, and does not collect personal data. See Vercel's analytics privacy notice for details.

What we do not use

  • No Google Analytics or other third-party analytics that set cookies.
  • No advertising or retargeting pixels (no Meta, no Google Ads, no LinkedIn Insight, etc.).
  • No marketing or behavioural tracking cookies.
  • No fingerprinting or shadow tracking via local storage or other browser APIs for marketing purposes.

If this changes

If we ever introduce non-essential cookies in the future (for example, if we run paid ads and add a conversion pixel), we will update this page and add a proper cookie consent banner before enabling them. You can check the "Last updated" date at the top of this page to see when it last changed.
